The White Hart, Aldeburgh
The White Hart is a traditional pub, whose first licence was
issued back in 1800. It’s located on the High Street, right next door to
Aldeburgh’s famous Fish & Chip shop and only a short walk from the
promenade.
With a wide range of ales, lagers, and ciders, alongside
wines, spirits and minerals, it offers something for everyone.
From Easter, throughout the summer months, there is a
traditional wood-fired Italian Pizzeria in the beer garden, serving fresh
cooked-to-order pizza. It can be enjoyed with a glass of wine or a pint of your
choice.
Not a pizza fan? Because we do not have a kitchen offering
food, you are welcome to enjoy Fish & Chips from our neighbours in our beer
garden, when it’s accompanied by a drink purchased from the bar – like a pint
of Ghost Ship, The Official Beer of Fish & Chips™.
Well-behaved dogs are welcomed, usually with a dog biscuit.
While children are welcome in the beer garden and outside areas our licence
restricts us to over 18s in the bar area.
During the winter months come and warm up beside our open,
coal fire.
